Dean blow for Bees

Brentford will be without Harlee Dean when they entertain non-league neighbours Staines Town in the FA Cup first round.

Centre-half Dean is suspended after collecting a fifth yellow card last weekend, leaving boss Uwe Rosler short at the back as loanee Martin Taylor has gone back to Sheffield Wednesday.

Club captain Kevin O'Connor is unlikely to play having only recently shaken off a thigh strain and fellow midfielder Adam Forshaw is struggling with a knock.

But Rosler will otherwise name a strong side against the Conference South side who are managed by former Bees winger Marcus Gayle.

Staines boss Marcus Gayle is expected to have Louis-Rae Beadle available for the trip.

Beadle missed his side's 2-1 victory over Hayes and Yeading with a hamstring injury but looks set to return to the fold ahead of the clash.

Gayle has no fresh injury or suspension concerns as he returns to the club where his football career began.

Striker Louie Theophanous, who has been in fine goal-scoring form so far this campaign is likely to lead the line.
