Rosler to swing the axe

Brentford boss Uwe Rosler looks set to make wholesale changes for the clash with Sheffield United.

The Bees made 10 changes for the 3-2 victory over Dagenham in midweek, and Rosler is likely to revert back to the team that picked up a point against Port Vale last weekend.

Moroccan forward Farid El Alagui is pushing to start after he came off the bench to score twice in Tuesday's Capital One Cup win.

Centre-back Tony Craig (ankle) has yet to feature this season and is expected to miss out once again.

Sheffield United defender Tony McMahon has an outside chance of making his first appearance of the season.

McMahon, yet to feature this season due to an ankle injury, has returned to full training and could be included in the squad.

Skipper Michael Doyle shook off a knock in time for the midweek Capital One Cup defeat to Burton and should continue, while Conor Coady, on loan from Liverpool, and summer signing Lyle Taylor are hoping to make their first starts.

Manager David Weir, who has no new injury or suspension problems, could be tempted to recall another recent signing, Febian Brandy, goalkeeper George Long and striker/winger Jamie Murphy to his starting line-up.
