Douglas in Bees frame

Jonathan Douglas could make his first appearance of the season when Brentford host Rotherham.

Douglas has been sidelined since undergoing a knee operation over the summer but has played in two reserve games and may be added to the squad as fellow midfielder George Saville is doubtful with a hip injury.

Goalkeeper David Button is back after a three-match ban and will challenge Richard Lee for the gloves.

Left-back Jake Bidwell remains sidelined by an ankle injury while centre-half Martin Taylor plays the final game of his month-long loan from Sheffield Wednesday, although the 33-year-old hopes to extend his stay.

Rotherham manager Steve Evans will pick from an unchanged squad.

The Millers saw their unbeaten start to the League One campaign end last week against Peterborough, but Evans has the same personnel available after a number of injuries have failed to clear up.

Michael O'Connor (groin) has returned to training but is not ready, Claude Davis is still battling a hamstring injury and David Worrall underwent surgery this week to repair his groin problem.

Striker Matt Tubbs is pushing for a start after Evans admitted he looked "sharp" when coming on as a substitute against Posh.
