Warburton ready for first game

New Brentford boss Mark Warburton has a fully-fit squad available for his first game in charge against Oldham.

Midfielder Jonathan Douglas and winger Kadeem Harris missed last weekend's FA Cup defeat at Carlisle to rest minor niggles.

But the duo were back in training this week and will be in contention to face the Latics.

Warburton took over on Tuesday after Uwe Rosler left to become Wigan manager and inherits a side unbeaten in eight League One games and lying fourth in the table, six points from the automatic promotion spots.

James Dayton has been added to Oldham's lengthy injury list.

The ex-Kilmarnock winger will miss the next two to three weeks due to ankle ligament damage and joins striker Charlie MacDonald (thigh), forward Kirk Millar (ankle and calf) and defender Edijs Joksts (back) as absentees.

Midfielder James Wesolowski (hamstring) is a doubt but should feature again after playing the majority of the penalty shoot-out loss to Mansfield in midweek.

Winger Cristian Montano, meanwhile, has been suspended by the club without pay following a National Crime Agency investigation into spot-fixing.
