Scott Hogan set to sit out Brentford's FA Cup clash

Brentford hot-shot Scott Hogan could sit out their FA Cup meeting with non-League Eastleigh.

The 14-goal striker, a target for West Ham, is rated 50-50 by manager Dean Smith due to a glute problem.

Defender Andreas Bjelland is also a doubt for the clash with an ankle knock.

Spanish midfielder Jota, back from his loan spell with La Liga side Eibar, will play some part if international clearance comes through in time.

Eastleigh will be missing captain Joe Partington as the defender serves a three-game suspension for his sending off in the Vanarama National League against Southport.

Defender Reda Johnson is out with a hamstring injury, while David Pipe has joined Newport for the rest of the season on loan.

Veteran Graham Stack could play in goal having completed a move on January 1, with on-loan Arsenal youngster Ryan Huddart unavailable.

Spitfires boss Martin Allen - who enjoyed two successful years in charge at Griffin Park - expects to only be able to call on 15 players, with the likes of defenders Tyler Garratt and Bondz N'Gala cup-tied as are forwards Ross Stearn and Ben Strevens while Ryan Clarke, Ryan Cresswell and Jason Taylor are still out injured and winger Jake Howells has been released.
