Tarkowski banned for Bees

Brentford will be without defender James Tarkowski when they take on Coventry at Griffin Park.

Tarkowski was sent off during last weekend's 1-0 win at promotion rivals Leyton Orient, which moved the Bees up to second spot, and serves a one-match ban.

Harlee Dean, who is playing on despite a groin problem, replaced Tarkowski at centre-half and is set to start against the Sky Blues.

Winger Sam Saunders remains sidelined after undergoing minor knee surgery but he hopes to be back in contention next month to play a part in the promotion run-in.

Coventry welcome back Dan Seaborne.

The defender has completed his one-match ban for his red card in the 4-2 defeat at Gillingham.

Andy Webster watched last weekend's 2-2 draw with Port Vale from the bench as Steven Pressley preferred Jordan Clarke and Jordan Willis as his centre-back pairing and he faces a battle to get back into the team.

On-loan Aston Villa striker Nathan Delfouneso could partner Callum Wilson up front after impressing Pressley as a second-half substitute against the Valiants.
