Brentford midfielder Alan McCormack in contention to face Charlton

Brentford could welcome Alan McCormack back into their squad for the visit of Charlton.

The midfielder has been out for two months with a calf injury and is unlikely to start, but he could be added to the bench against his former club.

Striker Scott Hogan played - and scored - for the reserves on Monday after an 18-month lay-off with cruciate damage but he will not be considered just yet.

Defenders Maxime Colin (groin) and Andreas Bjelland (knee) are still sidelined.

Jordan Cousins has a chance of returning for Charlton.

Midfielder Cousins missed last weekend's dramatic 4-3 defeat by Reading after suffering a knock at Preston five days earlier.

Yaya Sanogo, who scored all three Charlton goals against the Royals, limped off near the end but he will be fit.

However, Harry Lennon is suspended and Johnnie Jackson, Igor Vetokele, Patrick Bauer and Ahmed Kashi are still injured.
