McCormack boost for Bees

Alan McCormack should return to the Brentford squad for the visit of Bradford.

Right-back McCormack is back in training after missing last weekend's goalless draw at Carlisle with a glute problem.

Centre-half Harlee Dean is also on the mend after a groin injury but boss Mark Warburton is wary of rushing him back and may stick with James Tarkowski, who performed well on his debut at Brunton Park.

The Bees, who have slipped to third after taking one point from their last two matches, are still without winger Sam Saunders as he recovers from minor knee surgery.

Bradford defender Andrew Davies is expected to be included in boss Phil Parkinson's plans.

Davies was forced out of last week's home defeat to Stevenage with a calf injury but the problem is a neural one and he is hoping to resume after training as normal this week.

Carl McHugh has been nursing a calf strain this week but should be available, while fellow defender Rory McArdle returned unscathed from midweek international duty with Northern Ireland.

Kyle Bennett, Mark Yeates, Matthew Bates and Andy Gray are all pushing for recalls, but Raffaele De Vita (hip) and Matt Taylor (foot) remain sidelined as Bradford chase only their fourth win in 24 league matches.
