Warburton to keep faith

Brentford boss Mark Warburton is unlikely to make changes for the visit of Blackburn despite a setback at Huddersfield last weekend.

The Bees had won their previous five matches to climb to third in the table, but their winning streak was halted by a 2-1 defeat in Yorkshire.

Warburton, who this week celebrated a year in charge at Griffin Park, has a fully-fit squad available with the exception of the two long-term absentees, right-back Alan McCormack (ankle) and striker Scott Hogan (cruciate).

Fit-again duo Nico Yennaris (back) and Sam Saunders (knee) got more minutes under their belts for the reserves in midweek to push their claims to be involved.

Jason Lowe is ready to return for Blackburn.

The midfielder, who can also be deployed in defence, has not played since August because of a foot injury but this week he declared himself fit and available for the trip to London.

Tommy Spurr had a minor operation on his troublesome groin problem last week and it is hoped the full-back will not be out for too much longer.

Winger Josh King (back) and defender Matt Kilgallon (knee) only returned to light training last week.
