Brentford have been handed the community club of the year award for League Two. The Bees received the award at the 2009 Football League awards held on Sunday at Grosvenor House in London. Supporters' Trust chief executive Lee Doyle told the club's website: "When we move to the new stadium we hope to create a hub for the community. "It will mean that not only can the football club operate, but we can offer links to health and education."
