Bees forced to settle for draw In-form Brentford had to settle for a 1-1 draw against nine-man Notts County after missing an injury-time penalty. Substitute Robbie Simpson slammed his spot-kick against the upright after he was fouled by County's Krystian Pearce with seconds remaining. County had taken a shock lead just before the break when Craig Westcarr latched onto Robbie Neilson`s poor backpass to fire past Bees keeper Richard Lee at the second attempt. However, by then the visitors had already had Jon Harley sent off for two bookable offences within the space of six first-half minutes. It took until the 74th minute for the home side to hold themselves back into the game as Karleigh Osborne heading home Sam Saunders' free-kick from close-range. The visitors clung on in a one-sided second half which also saw Mike Edwards sent off for two yellow cards on the stroke of full time.
