Boss wants loan stars to stay

Brentford boss Nicky Forster is keen to keep hold of his trio of loan stars. Forster will enter talks with the parent clubs of Robbie Neilson, Adam Reed and Nathan Byrne, whose loans are due to expire after Saturday's match with Leyton Orient. The loanees were Forster's first recruits after he took over from Andy Scott in February and they have played a role in moving the Bees up to 14th in League One. Leicester have already indicated that Neilson will be allowed to stay at Griffin Park, but Forster is yet to get confirmation from Sunderland and Spurs regarding midfielders Reed and Byrne. "I will sit down and speak to them on Thursday and see what their thoughts are. We're interested in keeping all three of them," Forster told The Hounslow Chronicle "They have played games and done well. They've added a lot of quality to us."
