Boss blasts Bees

Brentford boss Andy Scott blasted his players after they suffered a humbling 3-1 loss at the hands of Rochdale at Griffin Park. The Bees saw off Championship side Hull in midweek but they were undone as Anthony Elding, Chris O'Grady and Jason Kennedy cancelled out Robbie Simpson's opener. And Scott hit out at the performance of his side, saying they had made life easy for their opponents. Scott said: "We keep giving ourselves a mountain to climb. "We got in all square at half-time and in the ascendancy and went out after the break and made their lives easy. We seem to have to fight for every goal we score but we gift them up far too easily and it's just not good enough. "The individuals in the side have to take responsibility and be in the opposition's faces, making them work for everything but we simply aren't doing that."
