Bennett hoping for Bees deal

On-loan defender Alan Bennett is hoping to join Brentford on a permanent basis at the end of the season.
Bennett is out of contract at parent club Reading in the summer and is hoping he has done enough to earn a full-time deal with the League One-bound Bees.
"I'd love to stay, but there are a lot of factors," the Irishman told the Hounslow Chronicle.
"This is my first full season in English football.
"I've had four clubs in two seasons, but this is the first place I've felt at home since I left Cork.
"That's a hard feeling to replace and it means a lot. I hope something can get sorted out."
