Bees swoop for Millwall striker

Brentford have completed the signing of striker Gary Alexander from Millwall for an undisclosed fee.The 30-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Bees and will go straight into the squad for Saturday's opening fixture away to Carlisle United. Brentford boss Andy Scott told the club's website: "I am delighted to get him to Griffin Park with his proven goal scoring record at this level.
