Bees stint suits Bowditch

Loan striker Dean Bowditch would relish the chance to extend his stay with League Two promotion hopefuls Brentford.

The 22-year-old Ipswich Town frontman has scored twice in nine appearances for the Bees and is enjoying life at Griffin Park.

He told the club's official website: "I would like to stay. Brentford are on the up and we are flying at the moment. I can't see why I would want to go back.

"I want to stay, score more goals and help the team get promoted.

"I don't know what Ipswich want to do, but there is a week until the next game and we will talk at the beginning of next week."
