Brentford manager Andy Scott has continued to revamp his improving squad by snapping up the Watford teenager Jordan Parkes on a month's loan. The 18-year-old defender has captained the Hornets' reserve team this season and has also represented England at Under-18 and Under-19 level. Parkes has made three first-team appearances for Watford in the last two seasons, all in the Carling Cup. Brentford have improved markedly since Scott replaced Terry Butcher as manager at Griffin Park, winning five of their last seven League Two games.
