Bees secure double signing

Brentford have made a double move in the loan market, snapping up strikers Eric Odhiambo and Damian Scannell from Leicester City and Southend United respectively.

Both players will remain at Griffin Park until early January, with Odhiambo eligible to play in the FA Cup second round tie with Barrow on Friday evening.

The 19-year-old has made just two appearances for the Foxes to date, but has gained first-team experience during previous loan spells with Southend United and Dundee United.

Scannell, 23, has been a regular member of the Shrimpers' matchday squad this season, but has made just three starts for Steve Tilson's side.

However, two of those came in the FA Cup against AFC Telford, meaning that Scannell is ineligible for the action this weekend.
