Bees position delights Scott
16 Feb 2009 - 13:33:03
Brentford boss Andy Scott was full of praise for his side after a 2-0 win over Port Vale took the Bees three points clear at the top of the League Two table.
Goals from Karleigh Osborne and Charlie MacDonald secured the victory, with Scott delighted by another solid display.
He told the club's official website: "The first half was a pleasure to watch. It is a great to be associated with a team that can do that.
"The opposition will always have a spell where they have the ball, but it wasn't long - I thought we were excellent all over the pitch. Two-nil doesn't really reflect our dominance.
"Everybody involved in the club is enjoying life and we are having a real good go. We have worked hard to get here.
"We have had a test and we are still there (top of the table), the more we play like that the further we will go."
