Bees land Simpson

Brentford have signed Huddersfield striker Robbie Simpson on a season-long loan. The 25-year-old made just 16 appearances for the Terriers last term because of injury following his £300,000 move from Coventry. But he follows Gary Alexander and Pim Balkestein in joining the Bees this week ahead of the season-opener against Carlisle.
