Brentford manager Terry Butcher has made Hereford United striker Alan Connell his second signing of the day.
The 24-year-old former Bournemouth and Torquay United forward has penned a two-year contract with the Bees.
"I had a good year at Hereford but felt that I wanted to get back to London as it's where I'm from," Connell told Brentford's official website.
"I'm coming to score as many goals as I can, and hopefully contribute to a successful season."
Connell scored 11 goals in 50 appearances for Hereford last term following his summer arrival from Torquay.
Butcher signed former Walsall defender Craig Pead earlier on Monday.
