Bees bring in Wilson

Brentford manager Scott Fitzgerald has brought Southend United defender Che Wilson to Griffin Park on loan while two players have left the club.

Wilson has agreed a one-month deal with the Bees after struggling to break in to Southend's first-team plans this term.

Shrimpers boss Steve Tilson said: "Che's not played this season so it's good for both parties to go out on loan.

"We had a few enquiries prior to the loan window closing in November, but at that point it wasn't right for us to be without him.

"I can't fault Che for his attitude in training while he's not been playing. Hopefully he can help Brentford stay up."

Meanwhile, Iceland international Oli Skulason is joining Swedish side Helsingborgs on trial while Scott P Fitzgerald's contract has been cancelled by mutual consent.
