Bees bring in Cox

League One side Brentford have signed Reading forward Simon Cox on a month's loan.

The 19-year-old, who can also play in midfield, has made six appearances as a substitute for the Royals, but has yet to make his full debut.

Bees boss Leroy Rosenior told the club's official website: "Simon is strong, he can pass the ball and he can score goals from either midfield or attack.

"He gives us two options and that's something we need in the squad."

Cox goes straight into the Bees squad for the clash with Swansea City at Griffin Park on Tuesday evening.
