Brentford's Republic of Ireland Under-21 midfielder Kevin O'Connor has agreed a new three-year contract to stay at Griffin Park.
The 21-year-old has been with the Bees since the summer of 1999, making just over 100 appearances for the club since then.
Last season he was used as a forward by boss Wally Downes and responded with nine goals in all competitions.
Downes is now hoping to persuade Stephen Hunt, Jamie Fullarton and Scott Marshall to follow O'Connor in agreeing new deals with the Nationwide Division Two outfit.
