Bees agree Bennett extension

Brentford have extended the loan stay of Reading centre-back Alan Bennett until the end of the season.

Bennett has made 27 appearances in all competitions for the Bees this season.

He also featured 11 times while on loan at the League Two club last term.

The 27-year-old Irishman will now remain at Griffin Park until May 4 or until the end of the play-offs should the high-flying Bees secure a place.
