Bees trio sit out

Brentford will be without Sam Wood, Sam Saunders and Carl Cort for the trip to Peterborough. Wood is still recovering from the broken arm he suffered last month, fellow winger Saunders has a hamstring injury and striker Cort is a long-term absentee with a torn Achilles. But Bees boss Andy Scott has no new injuries to contend with following Saturday's defeat at Yeovil. Millwall loanee Marc Laird should keep his place in midfield after an encouraging debut and he could be joined by ex-Posh midfielder Toumani Diagouraga. Goalkeeping coach Simon Royce, 39, will be on the bench again as cover for Richard Lee after loanee Ben Hamer returned to Reading last week.
