Bees to turn to Royce

31 January 2011 13:30
Veteran goalkeeper Simon Royce is in line to start his first match in over a year when Brentford head to Dagenham. The 39-year-old Bees goalkeeping coach came off the bench at Yeovil on Saturday after regular number one Richard Lee was sent off. Lee serves a one-match ban so Royce is expected to get the nod ahead of youngster Simon Moore to start his first game since he played for Gillingham in December 2009. Winger Sam Saunders is close to returning after six weeks out with a hamstring injury and could be involved against his former club. Utility man Sam Wood is therefore the only definite absentee as he continues his recovery from a broken arm.
