Bees stung by injuries

Brentford have been hit by a defensive crisis ahead of the FA Cup replay against Aldershot. Boss Andy Scott is without both his first-choice centre-backs through suspension after Pim Balkestein was sent off against MK Dons on Saturday and Karleigh Osborne collected his fifth booking of the season. With David McCracken still sidelined with a calf injury, Leon Legge is the only recognised centre-half available so right-back Michael Spillane could be asked to fill in. Keeper Ben Hamer is ineligible under the terms of his loan from Reading so Richard Lee continues in goal with veteran Simon Royce added to the bench. Striker Carl Cort remains a long-term absentee with a torn Achilles.
