Brentford have completed the signing of Leicester youngster Jeffrey Schlupp on a one-month loan deal. The move comes after the Germany Under-19 forward appeared in Leicester's matchday squad for the recent 3-2 defeat to Norwich and put pen to paper on a new long-term contract at the Walkers Stadium until June 2013. "Jeffrey is an exciting prospect, very highly rated by Sven-Goran Eriksson (Leicester manager) and is a current German youth international," said Bees boss Nicky Forster on the club's official website. "He has been involved in Leicester's first team recently. "He is a good, strong, pacey striker with an eye for goal and he will give us good competition for places. Schlupp goes straight into Brentford's squad for Tuesday's npower League One clash against promotion-chasing Huddersfield.
