Bees need character - Saunders

Brentford winger Sam Saunders has called on his side to show their "character" and bounce back from successive defeats when they head to Plymouth on Saturday. The Bees' recent fine form earned boss Andy Scott the manager of the month award, but they were beaten 2-0 by MK Dons at the weekend before crashing out of the FA Cup to League Two Aldershot on Tuesday. However, Saunders insisted: "It's not all doom and gloom. We had been on a good run. The last two games haven't been great but we have a big game on Saturday and the boys will look to put it right. "We have to dig deep and show a bit of character. We are all professionals and we have lost games before, everyone has. "There are a lot of boys here who won League Two 18 months ago and you don't win leagues without heart and character."
