Bees missing MacDonald

Brentford boss Nicky Forster will be without Charlie MacDonald for the trip to Charlton. The 10-goal striker returned from a dead leg in time to make the starting line-up against Brighton on Tuesday night, but had to be withdrawn after suffering ankle ligament damage following a challenge from Radostin Kishishev. Robbie Simpson stepped off the bench to replace him and could start against the Addicks, although Lewis Grabban is another option. On-loan Sunderland midfielder Adam Reed is set to continue following his full debut in midweek, but fellow midfielder Sam Wood is not yet ready to return from a broken arm. Winger Myles Weston could return to the starting line-up as the the Bees look to avoid a third consecutive defeat.
