Darlington defender Alan White was sent off inside two minutes and the Bees took full advantage as stand-in captain Alan Bennett scored a 35th-minute opener before a brace from former Quakers striker Billy Clarke sealed the victory.[LNB]Pawel Abbott scored a consolation for Darlington but Scott, in his first full managerial season, said: "Injuries began to tell on us but we have brought players in and they have responded and the momentum has continued.[LNB]"It has been an exhausting five or six weeks and I am delighted to get over the line and that we have achieved our goal.[LNB]"This was a big game for us, we had all of the pressure and we knew that it wouldn't be easy even though they had nothing left to play for.[LNB]"I feel that we have been the best side in the division and next season is going to be massive for the club financially.
