Bees boosted by trio

Brentford have added Robbie Neilson, Adam Reed and Nathan Byrne to their squad for the visit of Tranmere. Leicester full-back Neilson, Sunderland midfielder Reed and Tottenham defender Byrne have all agreed one-month loan deals at Griffin Park. Caretaker boss Nicky Forster has been further boosted by Charlie MacDonald's return to training after an ankle injury and the striker is in contention. Skipper Kevin O'Connor came off against MK Dons with a groin strain but he too will be fit so Sam Wood is the only injury absentee. The winger is recovering from a broken arm and expects to get the all-clear to resume training at the start of next month. The Bees have won two and drawn one of their three matches since Forster took over from Andy Scott.
