Brentford have made their third signing of the summer, agreeing a two-year deal with former Blackpool midfielder Marcus Bean.
The 23-year-old has also had spells with Rotherham United, Swansea City and QPR.
Bees boss Andy Scott told the club's official website: "He's a player we have been tracking for a few months now after his impressive displays for Rotherham when they were going well earlier in the season.
"He will be a good acquisition to the squad as he is a good age and brings with him enthusiasm, determination, physical strength and experience of the division."
Scott has already snapped up striker Moses Ademola from Croydon Athletic and Bromley wing-back Sam Wood.
