Balkestein extends Brentford stay

Balkestein, who was named Town's most improved player last season in his first term at the club, has impressed during his month-long stay with the Bees.[LNB]The 22-year-old will now stay at Griffin Park until January 17, although Ipswich have a 24-hour recall option and the Dutchman will not be able to play in Brentford's third-round FA Cup tie.[LNB]Town manager Roy Keane told the official website: "Pim's a great example of players benefiting from going out on loan.[LNB]"He's a good, young player who is playing games there. He's doing well and Brentford have a good player so everyone gains from it.[LNB]"If I can get more of our younger players out on loan in January I will do."[LNB][LNB]
