The former Southend forward, who hit 18 goals last season, has been sidelined since suffering a dislocated shoulder against Gillingham in March. "I saw my specialist last Wednesday, and he said the shoulder's healing well and I'm making good progress," MacDonald told the Hounslow Chronicle. "I'm starting to get some feeling back in it now and am building up its strength. "I'll go back to see him again in four weeks, and I will know a lot more then about how long I'll be out for." The majority of the Bees' first-team squad are currently on a training camp in Marbella, including defender Alan Bennett as he weighs up his future having been released by Reading.
