Brentford have completed the signing of striker Gary Alexander from Millwall for an undisclosed fee. The 30-year-old has agreed a two-year deal to swap south London for west London and will go straight into the Bees' squad for Saturday's trip to Carlisle. "I am delighted to get him to Griffin Park as he has a good goalscoring record throughout his career and is someone who has enjoyed success at this level," said Brentford boss Andy Scott. "I am also confident he will fit in with the way we play and will give us the goals we need in our pursuit of improving still further on next season." Alexander spent three years with the Lions, scoring 25 goals in 82 starts including both goals in their 3-2 play-off final defeat by Scunthorpe in 2009.
