Brechin all but sealed a play-off place with a hard-fought win at Peterhead. There were early chances as Brechin's Darren Smith sent a shot narrowly wide with Bobby Mann responding for the home side with a 25-yard free-kick. David Ross had the best chance for the Blue Toon but it bounced off the post on 56 minutes while Rory McAllister's shot was saved by Michal Kula.
