Stirling effort not enough

Andrew Jackson's stoppage-time winner consigned Stirling to League Two as they were beaten 2-1 at Brechin.

Alex Cunningham's header with four minutes to spare looked to have ensured the visitors would live to fight another day but there was still time for Jackson to complete his brace and relegate Albion in the process.

Jackson opened the scoring after 12 minutes with a neat left-footed finish beyond Callum Reidford in the Stirling goal.

That was the way it stayed until the 86th minute when substitute Cunningham directed Andrew Stirling's free-kick home with his head.

However, Jackson rifled in a winner in the second minute of time added on to leave Stirling 11 points from safety with just three games remaining.
