Brechin extend unbeaten run

Brechin extended their unbeaten League One run to 15 games with a 2-1 come-from-behind victory against Stenhousemuir.

City responded after falling behind three minutes in, with Paul McLean's winner moving them up to third in the table.

Colin McMenamin had nudged the visitors ahead 132 seconds after kick-off with a tidy left-footed finish.

The game was levelled up 18 minutes in, though, as Andrew Jackson swept home having been picked out by Ryan Ferguson inside the area.

Ferguson blazed over the crossbar before the break and McLean missed the target too.

The hosts, who have not lost a league game since October, continued to press for a second goal and McLean provided it with a tap-in from Robert Thomson's centre across the area.

Ciaran Summers came close to a late leveller but goalkeeper Graeme Smith tipped his header over.
