Luiz doesn't know Scots from Adam

David Luiz admits Charlie Adam is the only name he knows in the Scotland squad but still expects Brazil to face a tough test in their friendly against Craig Levein's side at the Emirates Stadium.

Luiz, who joined Chelsea in January from Benfica, had to negotiate his way past a multi-national media throng when Brazil arrived at Arsenal's stadium for a training session. When asked about Sunday's opponents, the former Benfica player was polite enough but could only pick out Blackpool midfielder Adam.

"I don't know much about them," he said. "I know that Brazil played against them three times in the World Cup and they made it difficult for them. But Charlie Adam is the only name that I know from this team. He is an excellent player but I hope he doesn't do too well."

He added: "It is going to be a difficult game because every team that plays against Brazil always does their best. So it's going to be a great game."

Luiz had to be helped by an interpreter in his media activities but the Stamford Bridge player insists language is not a problem at his new club.

"The language doesn't get in the way at Chelsea," he said.

"I have been taking English classes but the language isn't a problem.

"Everything has been very positive since I signed and I am very happy for this opportunity that God gave me to play at Chelsea.

"I have to keep my concentration and focus to become a better player in the future.

"As for Chelsea, we are still fighting for the title and the Champions League."
