Cesar could be fit for opening game

Goalkeeper Julio Cesar should be available to start in Brazil's opening World Cup match against North Korea.

Not much is known about the tournament's lowest ranked team, however, their mystery could be their greatest weapon for the game in Johannesburg.

Brazil legend Pele has admitted he is worried about Kaka's form and he said: "Kaka worries me. He is very important to our team. But God willing he will be in good form."

Kaka is looking to forget a disappointing first campaign with Real Madrid and lead Brazil to glory in South Africa.

However, Pele did pay tribute to Robinho as he added: "If Robinho does what he did at Santos in the last three months, I think he will be a key figure, especially considering Kaka's fitness."

Meanwhile, Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-sung has backed North Korea to "surprise the world" in South Africa.

Park, who scored as South Korea began their own World Cup campaign with a 2-0 win over Greece yesterday in Port Elizabeth, faced North Korea twice during qualifying.

"I think North Korea can surprise the world, even though they are not well-known," said 29-year-old Park.

"I don't think North Korea will lose all their three matches."
