Brazil secure narrow win

Roberto Firmino's goal was all that separated Brazil and Honduras as they played out a friendly in Porto Alegre on Wednesday.

The Hoffenheim striker was on the spot 33 minutes in to score the only goal in a 1-0 win for the home side.

In a match that serves as a final warm-up for the Copa America, Dunga's side were further boosted by the second-half substitute appearance of Neymar - even though Dunga had previously said he would start.

The captain missed the weekend win over Mexico as a result of Barcelona's Champions League exertions but proved his fitness ahead of the Copa opener against Peru on Sunday.

Roberto Firmino's goal was the difference between the two sides and when it came it was a well-worked one.

Chelsea's Filipe Luis carried the ball from the back, swapped passes with Liverpool schemer Phil Coutinho and then played in Roberto Firmino. He did the rest, clipping in beyond Noel Valladares to settle the contest.

It was a goal that made it three goals in six international games since his debut for the Germany-based player.
