Douglas Costa, Renato Augusto and Filipe Luis scored as Brazil beat Peru 3-0 in their World Cup qualifying match at Salvador's Arena Fonte Nova.

Costa opened the scoring for Dunga's men midway through the first half when he finished off Willian's cross from close range.

Augusto doubled Brazi's advantage 12 minutes into the second half when he sidefooted his first international goal.

And, after Neymar had seen a goal ruled out for offside, Filipe Luis tapped in the third 13 minutes from time after Costa's shot had been parried by Peru goalkeeper Diego Penny.

The win, Brazil's second in four qualifying matches, leaves them third in the race to win a spot at Russia 2018, five points behind Ecuador - who boast a 100 per cent record after four games.

Peru are ninth of the 10 teams, with just one win and three defeats from their four games.
