The Cressing Road outfit gear up for their debut season in the Blue Square Conference Premier League. The Iron held Farnborough at bay last season to clinch the Conference South title by seven points, and are ready to embark on their first ever season in the Blue Square Premier Division. Former West Ham United favourite Alan Devonshire was recently appointed as first team manager, and he will be looking to continue the success of predecessor Rod Stringer, who resigned at the end of last season having failed to agree terms with the club.
