Bradford City caretaker manager David Wetherall is contemplating returning to playing action in Saturday's West Yorkshire derby with Huddersfield Town.
The veteran defender hasn't played since taking the managerial reins when Colin Todd was sacked last month.
But after seeing the Bantams slip into the relegation zone on the back of a 4-1 thrashing at Rotherham last weekend, the experienced central defender could add his name to the team-sheet.
"It's something I've got to look at. I will look at the options that we've got and I will be one of those options," Wetherall told the Telegraph & Argus.
"I'll choose on Saturday what I feel is the best team available and my own personal situation will be part of the thought process.
"I'm hoping this week will be different and the workload will be diminished. I will try to structure it so I come into the reckoning."
