Bradford City striker Willy Topp has returned home to Chile to continue his rehabilitation following calf surgery.
The 22-year-old striker is hoping to be fully-fit for the new season after seeing his debut campaign interrupted by red tape delaying his move from South America before injury.
Topp made 11 appearances for the League Two club before being told he required surgery to correct a muscle-tightening condition in both legs.
"It is feeling better now. I can walk and maybe this week I will be able to run a bit again and then let's see," he told the Telegraph & Argus.
"This operation has opened up the muscles and hopefully there will be no more tightness when I'm playing games. It will help me a lot.
"There is a lot more running in England and sometimes the pitches are difficult, which has been the problem."
