Todd bemoans bad luck
13 Dec 2006 - 11:25:16
Bradford City boss Colin Todd bemoaned a lack of luck after his side's extra-time FA Cup exit at the hands of Millwall on Tuesday night.
The Bantams were sent crashing out of the competition as Nathan Doyle's late own goal settled the second round replay at the New Den.
"Football is a cruel game. I thought our play was absolutely superb apart from the finishing," Todd told the Telegraph & Argus.
"But as a manager I can't ask for any more than they gave - apart from a three-goal win which we honestly deserved.
"The players have all been brilliant and we just didn't have Lady Luck on our side.
"But the performance must have delighted every Bradford supporter who was there."
