Bradford City manager Colin Todd hopes to keep loan duo Lee Holmes and Nathan Doyle at Valley Parade until January.
The pair moved to the Bantams from Derby County at the beginning of this month and have played a key part in the club's promising start to the campaign.
Holmes and Doyle are currently on a three-month loan deal with City which is due to expire at the beginning of November.
But when asked whether the players would extend their stay with the League One side, Todd said: "They will get done."
The City boss also hopes to tie up some more signings before Thursday's transfer deadline, adding: "It's a good squad but I'd certainly like it to be a bit stronger in terms of personnel. But that might come eventually."
