McCall targets new keeper
19 Feb 2009 - 14:29:09
Bradford City manager Stuart McCall is keen to bring a new goalkeeper to Valley Parade on loan as his two senior shot-stoppers are currently injured.
Jon McLaughlin is suffering from concussion while Rhys Evans has a thigh strain. Even third-choice keeper Matthew Convey was forced to end his loan spell at Salford City last week because of injury.
McCall told the Bantams' official website: "With two keepers being out, you can get one in for seven or 14 days.
"But obviously we feel for Jonny. He hasn't had an injury all season and it's just typical that this should happen at the same time as Rhys."
